There are more than 900,000 registered boats in Florida, but there are many more boaters than that.  With more than 1,000 miles of Florida coast and great weather, it is easy to see why boating in Florida is so popular.  Regulations are tightly controlled so safety is high on everyone's priority.  In almost every coastal destination in the state, you can enjoy an outstanding mix of quiet anchorages and beaches wherever you go.

 

Even those who do not own their own boat have discovered the joy of charter sailing, motor yacht sailing and charter fishing, making boating more economical and more accessible than ever before. Some have turned to fractional ownership in  order to afford their boating habit!

For tourist, there are ample sailing tours and sailing escape vacations to enjoy. A Florida sailing vacation or is more than just a cruise. It's an opportunity to feel the wind in your face, the sun on your back, and taste the sea spray in the air as you cruise the crystal blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of Mexico under billowing sails.  many of these adventures combine wind surfing, snorkeling, or big game fishing as part of the agenda.

For the true adventurer, try your hand at bumper tubing,  ride a banana  boating, jet skiing, parasailing, wakeboarding, kitesurfing, windsurfing, and even waterskiing. It will give you a lot to talk about!
