The airport has replaced their inter-terminal buses for a light rail transit system that makes for easy connections to the NYC subways and train systems throughout the tri-state areas of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
JFK is located on Jamaica Bay, in the Borough of Queens, at its southeastern section, and is only 12 miles from lower Manhattan. It is directly accessible via I-678, the Van Wyck Expwy; 878 Nassau Expwy and the Belt Pkwy.
