It seems that whenever you go to New Orleans there is always a festival of some sort going on. New Orleans has to be the "festival capital of the world." There are literally dozens of festivals that celebrate the unique food, music and multicultural heritage all year-long. That's why they say "festival season in New Orleans is underway, y'all!"
This city has made remarkable progress in coming back from hurricane Katrina. Its late night jazz clubs, historic neighborhoods and festivals are more alive than ever. Compliments to the many people and organizations who have put forth a valiant effort to reclaim this city with all its charm and culture that we have come to expect.
