Every Caribbean destination boasts of having warm sunshine, crystal clear waters, soft ocean breezes and soft sand beaches. The notable exception is the black sand beaches of Dominica. The beaches listed below consistently rank as being the best, if not the favorite Caribbean beaches.

You will not go wrong with whichever destination you choose based on who offers the best beach.  These beaches represent only a small sample of the hundreds of beaches to choose from. In reality, there is no bad beach in the Caribbean!

Anguilla: Shoal Bay Beach is considered a "hot spot" for Hollywood starlets and honeymooners and who knows you may get to spot one!

Antigua: Dickenson Bay is one of the islands finest beaches with powder soft sand and turquoise waters and great place to soak up the sun in a romantic atmosphere.

Aruba: Eagle Beach is known for its "sugar white" sand and gentle surf and is a real favorite of honeymooners.

Bahamas: Nassau Beach is known for spectacular diving and clear waters making it one of the most popular dining destinations and close to the populist east coast of the United States.

Barbados: Crane Beach is known for its natural beauty and fun loving culture and great home to some of the best surfers in the world.

Bermuda: Horseshoe Bay is known for its pink sand beaches and lovely seaside retreats.

British Virgin Islands: Virgin Gorda is known for its posh resorts, great sailing and the "Baths". It is a popular spot for those seeking a romantic getaway.

Puerto Rico: Palominos Island is a 100-acre private beach getaway, a refreshing alternative to some other busier beaches.

St. Maarten: Philipsburg is a cosmopolitan beach destination with European flair.

US Virgin Islands, St. Johns: Trunk Bay is known for clear, warm waters and silky coral sand, also very popular with the honeymooners.

New Things To Do

  • Aquariums

Oceans cover 71% of the Earth’s surface, and we’ve only explored about 5% of it. That leaves so much of the Earth that we know nothing about. Not everyone can dive right into the water to look at the ocean life, so why not do the next best thing? Aquariums give us a window into a whole other world. Most locations around the world have aquariums; some larger than others.

  • Snowmobiling

Snowmobiling began to take off in the 1950's as lightweight design emerged. At first, snowmobiling was a topic of dispute, because snowmobilers like to take advantage of the flexibility of their machines to travel off-road, thereby disrupting otherwise pristine environments. Others objected to snowmobilers because their machines were noisy and polluted the environment.
