Alberta is undoubtedly one of the most breathtaking places on earth. Nestled in the rugged beauty of the Canadian Rocky Mountains and surrounded by turquoise lakes, pristine forests and rushing rivers provide for an authentic adventure.

Calgary is western Canada's biggest and youngest cities and has growing since the oil boom in the 1970's. Calgary's downtown district features many stunning high-rise buildings and skyscrapers, together with over-street walkways and bridges which are known by locals in Calgary as the "Plus 15" system.

It has retained a certain "wild west" feel as everyone supports the annual Calgary Stampede. While visiting Calgary one can soak in natural hot springs, dig for dinosaurs in the Canadian Badlands, herd cattle on a working ranch, hike endless scenic trails in the summer and ski Alberta's famous deep fluffy powder.
