Imagine a week of swimming in subterranean rivers, rappelling down limestone ravines, zip-lining through a rain forest and scuba diving the deepest depths of the Atlantic Ocean. Nowhere is Puerto Rico's rich African heritage more pronounced and celebrated than in Loiza Aldea. Every July 25th the town has a huge celebration of its patron Saint, St James the Apostle.
