The National September 11 Memorial & Museum is the 16-acre site on Lower Manhattan known as "Ground Zero", formerly the home to the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center. After the attack on September 11, 2001, the area was completely destroyed. The area has been rebuilt as a memorial to the 3,000 people who lost their lives on that tragic day and is considered America's most sacred ground. It's a site for reflection and respect rather than snapping photographs.

The original footprints of the two former World Trade Center Towers has been preserved as reflecting pools adjacent to the new World Trade Center buildings, a memorial museum and landscaped plaza. A visit to Ground Zero is an emotional, numbing experience that's not soon forgotten.

Take a walking tour of the property and visit the 9/11 Memorial Museum. Viewing the tributes on nearby Church Street allows visitors to remember the events of that fateful day.

  • Aquariums

Oceans cover 71% of the Earth’s surface, and we’ve only explored about 5% of it. That leaves so much of the Earth that we know nothing about. Not everyone can dive right into the water to look at the ocean life, so why not do the next best thing? Aquariums give us a window into a whole other world. Most locations around the world have aquariums; some larger than others.

  • Snowmobiling

Snowmobiling began to take off in the 1950's as lightweight design emerged. At first, snowmobiling was a topic of dispute, because snowmobilers like to take advantage of the flexibility of their machines to travel off-road, thereby disrupting otherwise pristine environments. Others objected to snowmobilers because their machines were noisy and polluted the environment.
