This notorious hedonist destination, commonly known as the “Entertainment Capital of the World,” offers visitors every opportunity to make it or break it. Las Vegas’ energetic and glitzy environment attracts visitors from all over the world. Colossal casinos, fascinating shows, sprawling game floors and an invasion of neon lights attract tourist like no other city. But these mega-resorts offer guests more than just slot machines and drink. Spas, pools, luxury hotel rooms, elite clubs, and exotic restaurants are now part of the allure.

In many ways, Las Vegas is basically a giant playground for grown-ups. Some of the best dining, shopping and nightlife in the world can be found here, all in the comfort of climate-controlled casinos. This is not a vacation for people looking for an enriching cultural experience—it is a getaway for people looking to escape the real world and unwind for a bit. And the fashion you do this in can be as innocent or as excessive as you choose.

The stretch of South Las Vegas Boulevard named “The Strip” is home to the fine restaurants, lavish nightclubs, up-scale resorts and live entertainment that visitors seek when staying in “Sin City.” Everyone is here for the world class shows such as Cirque du Soleil, David Copperfield, and headliners like Celine Dion and Rod Stewart.

Though the city is known for this small section of the region, Las Vegas also offers many sight-seeing opportunities outside the Strip. Nearby, visitors can see the Hoover Dam and take a helicopter tour of the breath-taking Grand Canyon.
