With so much to see and do, a trip to New York City may seem a little overwhelming. The city is so big, mere words penned from a few local tour guides cannot capture the true essence of the city... there is simply too much to comprehend!

New York City is a visual masterpiece. It contains the most recognizable and cherished attractions imaginable. Volumes have been written to describe what one can do just in the borough of Manhattan alone, not to mention the other four boroughs of Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, and The Bronx.

New York City has to be experienced, not once, but many times just to understand why this iconic city is so attractive to so many. It is a city founded by immigrants. It is still wonderfully diverse and each of the five boroughs possess their own unique characteristics and appeal.

By far, most tourists visiting New York are looking to stay in the Times Square area of Manhattan. To a lesser degree, others choose to stay in Brooklyn and Queens. Both Staten Island and The Bronx cater more to residents than the other three.

When asked "Where is the best place to stay in New York", the answer is "it depends". There is no "best place" to stay. The best place to stay depends on the type of accommodations you need, what you are willing to spend, and what you are going to do while you are there.

At the Favorite Hotels Collection, it is not our intention to try to answer all your questions about New York City or build a "one size fits all" trip for you, but rather to identify customer favorites in the area of your choosing, and with city partners, offer a whole roster of "must see and do" activities--all with a "one stop shop", beginning with the borough of your choosing.

We look forward to welcoming you to New York City!
