Washington, DC is like no other city in the United States! Not only is the official business of the United States conducted here, it is also one of the most desirable business and tourist destinations.

Seeing the place where democracy is at work is a fascinating educational experience for people of all ages. The American experience has been preserved in its many museums, monuments, historical sites, cultural venues and its many attractions (many of which are free).

This is a compact and busy city and is full of opportunities to enjoy. In Washington DC you can choose from a list of more than 200 things to see and do, dine in more than 1,000 eating restaurants and bars and stay in more than 150 hotels and motels. Exploring one of the free Smithsonian museums is a pleasant way to spend a day but make sure to save some energy for an evening out—DC has a sweet restaurant and bar scene.

There are many transportation options available to get to the city but automobile parking is at a premium, but no worries since you can take the metro to almost any place you want to go in the city, take any number of “step on” tours and even walk to many attractions on the Mall.

It is always a good time to visit Washington but the springtime is especially attractive with is well known Cherry Blossom (and other )Festivals. There is a major celebration during each of the national holidays that attracts thousands and there are many sporting events that take place regularly.
